The barcoding capability in Plex is designed to meet GS1 barcode and data standards and facilitates the sharing of GS1 data via EDI.

This system provides complete manufacturing genealogy for each item created and can generate “traceability trees” for real-time audits and reporting. Plus, integrated recipe management tracks all the necessary data in user-definable and convertible units of measure. That includes a history of previous recipe versions while documenting expiration and effective dates.
