Plex Systems and Meijer Deliver 250,000 Bottles of Clean Drinking Water to Flint, Mich.

Mich.-based Plex Systems, a cloud ERP provider, and Meijer partnered to deliver almost a quarter-million bottles of clean drinking water to Flint, Mich. today.

TROY, MICH., March 10, 2016– Mich.-based Plex Systems, a cloud ERP provider, and Meijer partnered to deliver almost a quarter-million bottles of clean drinking water to Flint, Mich. today.

The donation grew from a GoFundMe campaign started by Plex employee and Flint native Marcus Jones. The initial campaign goal was to raise $2,000 for Vermont Christian Church to distribute clean water to the community. However, as the greater Plex community learned about the campaign, the initial goal was quickly surpassed.

The Plex community – from employees, to vendors, board members and customers – came together to donate nearly $10,000. This amount was matched by Plex, raising a total of $20,000 in donations for clean drinking water for Flint.
