They’re what make this company great, but few get the chance to step into the spotlight they deserve – until now. This month, say hello to Sales Development Team Lead Megan Fisher.
Tell us about your role at Plex.
As Team Lead, I have a hybrid role within the group. I support our team through continued growth, onboarding, and initiatives to best support the company and opportunities through the sales cycle. The other half of my day is spent being an individual contributor following up with prospects and building the interest in Plex and its products, being that first point of contact in a prospect’s experience.
What do you love most about your job?
There’s always something new so the day is never stagnant. I get so much exposure to different companies, products, and processes that allow me to better build my own knowledge bank. I love the fact that I get a glimpse into a prospect’s day as there are so many things with manufacturing that I never would have thought of prior to working at Plex.
Your favorite Plex memory is:
It’s a brand-new memory but the Plex Elite trip to Lanai! I still can’t believe I got to see a sea turtle, dolphins, and whales. Our tour guide during snorkeling even put a hydrophone in the water so we got to hear the whale calls! It was amazing and getting to spend that time with so many great people was just a cherry on top.

What are your favorite things to do on the weekend?
My favorite things to do on the weekends are playing videogames with my husband, catching up on reading whatever series I am on at the time, or going on walks should the weather permit. We are actually getting a puppy in a few weeks so I highly doubt kicking up and relaxing will be in the cards for much longer!
Tell us something most people don’t know about you:
I played soccer most of my life growing up. I played a few different positions but was a goalie for most of my career. I ended up going pretty far with it and played for an Olympic development team in the past and was scouted to play for a handful of colleges. Life took me on a different path but now I get to cheer my nephew from the sidelines as I see him grow to love the sport. He constantly wants to “play goalie” and I am here for it!
